Polish cellist Krzysztof Michalski is emerging as one of the most compelling musical voices of his generation. A laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition and the ARD International Music Competition, he has already appeared with leading orchestras and in some of Europe’s most distinguished halls.

Praised for his vocal approach to the cello, expressive range, and sharp technique, Krzysztof moves with equal conviction between the concerto stage and chamber music. His performances have brought him to the Philharmonie de Paris, the Elbphilharmonie, the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, La Roque d’Anthéron, La Folle Journée, Spannungen, and many other major international venues and festivals.
